I’m a freelance web content editor and small WordPress website developer living in Edinburgh.
I work with small organisations, associations and businesses, helping them with their websites in a variety of ways.
I’ve been working in communications for over 30 years, starting out as a graphic designer, then web designer, then web projects manager and, since 2008, running my own business.
I can update your website on a regular basis, or when you need some extra help (e.g. cover for sickness or parental leave). This can be straightforward edits or more technical stuff.
If you’re planning a website re-design or new website, I’ll organise your content and get it in good shape, in time to meet the project schedule. Before the site goes live, I can work with your web designers to iron out any bugs and usability problems.
I also design WordPress websites for associations and small organisations.
I aim to be a useful member of any web team – someone who will get on with their own bit unaided, dovetail with others, fill in some gaps and spot errors.
When staff change, I can give support and training, and help to make sure that consistency and good standards are maintained.
