The Dukes’ Club is an active network of surgical trainees, promoting training and career development opportunities for surgeons looking to specialise in coloproctology.
The network is run by a committee of volunteers, who needed an easy-to-maintain website to promote their work and provide member benefits.
I developed a low-cost, mobile-friendly website with an events calendar, e-newsletter sign-up and members’ area for resources. A fellowship opportunities database has been added.
My work on the project also included: content audit, information architecture and an editorial guidance document, with links to free training resources.
I provide ongoing support for volunteers, together with events calendar updates.
I carry out regular system and plugin updates.
